PRESS CREDENTIALS

Press credential registration for the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is open! All media must submit a credentials request prior to entering the boat show. All credentials are subject to verification.

You will receive an update on the status of your application within five business days.

Please note: Influencer applications will not be accepted for this year’s show. All approved credentials are for working members of the media. Each member of your publication must submit an individual application.

The media credential application deadline was October 24, 2025. The deadline has now passed, and we are no longer accepting applications. There will be no on-site media registration at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Qualified media will receive an e-mail confirmation upon approval. Non-qualified media registrants will be notified by Avoq, the agency of record for Informa US Boat Shows.

MEDIA CENTER INFORMATION:

There will be two designated areas for media:

  • Broward County Convention Center (2nd Floor, Room 201 A/B): This will serve as a media lounge where you can relax and work during the event.
  • Swimming Hall of Fame: A check-in station will be available inside the credentials tent for your convenience.

MEDIA PARKING:

The Broward County Convention Center serves as our transportation hub for the show - with over 3,000 parking spots available at a flat rate of $20 per day and water taxi, shuttle, or golf cart services to and from all seven show locations.

MEDIA CENTER HOURS:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 29th: 11am-7pm
  • Thursday, Oct. 30th: 9am-7pm
  • Friday, Oct. 31st: 9 am-7pm
  • Saturday, Nov. 1st: 9am-7pm
  • Sunday, Nov. 2nd: 9am-5pm

Yes. FLIBS will include two media centers: a media lounge at the Convention Center and a check-in station at the Swimming Hall of Fame

Members of the media must submit their application online at www.flibs.com. All applications will be reviewed by the show’s media team. Incomplete or unclear applications may result in delays or denial. Approval or follow-up inquiries will be communicated within 7–10 business days.

Yes, the 2025 show has implemented updated accreditation standards specifically for print and digital journalists. Please ensure you review the new guidelines when applying.

Yes. Photographers working with exhibitors must coordinate directly with those exhibitors to secure passes prior to the event. Photographers representing media entities must provide evidence of commissioning via an official letter from the editor’s office. Individuals without proper credentials will not be granted access.

Applicants will be notified within 5 business days of submitting their registration. Incomplete applications may delay this process.

Media passes provide access to all general admission areas, not VIP or private events.

No. Media passes are non-transferable and do not include guest access.

Each member of a publication is required to submit an individual application for a media pass. All applications must be completed by October 24, 2025.  

Approved media will receive email updates. Check www.flibs.com regularly.

To submit a press event, ensure all relevant details—date, time, description, exhibitor, and host—are provided no later than October 24, 2025. Submissions can be made HERE. The media team will update the press schedule weekly.

All interview requests must be submitted at least one week prior to the show's opening. Include details such as the intended topic, preferred date, and time. Send requests to FLIBS@teamavoq.com.

Approved media representatives will receive their credentials digitally via email. There is no need for a printed badge, as your digital pass will provide access to designated media areas and show exhibits.
